Camilla Parini (b.1984) lives and works in Switzerland. In 2004 she met Teatro delle Radici (directed by Cristina Castrillo Swiss Award for theater in 2014), with whom she began training and work, taking part in shows as D_verso D_ (2006), Shakespeariana (2008), Track (2009), Dove lo sguardo scorre (2011), Neve (2012), Amori (2013), performing in various theaters and festivals in Switzerland and abroad (Argentina, Chile, Cuba, Denmark, Ecuador, Italy and Peru). In 2012 graduated at the “Milano Teatro Paolo Grassi School” within the course of professional theater dance by presenting performances at festivals such as Torino Danza, Biennale Danza Venezia e Bolzano Danza. Meanwhile she also refines her skills with other artistic realities in dance, theater and performance including Les Ballets C de la B, Wupperrtal Tanztheater, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Peeping Tom, Nicole Seiler, Geraldine Pilgrim, Iris Erez, Violeta Luna. In 2013 puts the first foundations for the creation of the artistic group Collettivo Ingwer with which in 2014 produced her first work STILL LEBEN.

Still Leben is a research on the image of the woman carried out by performer the Camilla Parini. It intends to unravel the overlap between the image of what a woman is and the image of what she is but remains hidden within. It is a process that, at this early stage, directly involves the women of San Cipriano Picentino (Sa) in the composition and production of a photographic portrait that can be representative of their vision of the woman. The participants were invited to dress up, make up, pose and taking a picture of the performer's body within a frame they chose. "Still Leben - I am another" aims to investigate those facets that inhabit the being and non-being of the woman looking for a portrait which should be real and not necessarily realistic.
